Important Disclosure

TravelCareMexico is a marketing and sales company, not a medical provider, insurance company, or local assistance operator. Assistance in Mexico is coordinated through TelAsist, an independent Mexican assistance company. TravelCareMexico is the authorized marketing partner for TelAsist, serving international travelers.

1. Parties to this Agreement

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Purchaser," or "Traveler") andMeXus International, LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as TravelCareMexico ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Los Angeles, CA, United States.

Important: TravelCareMexico is the authorized marketing and sales partner for TelAsist.TravelCareMexico does not directly provide emergency response, medical care, legal services, ambulance transport, roadside work, or insurance.

2. Description of Services

TravelCareMexico markets and sells travel certificates for 24/7 bilingual emergency assistance in Mexico, provided through TelAsist. These services may include:

  • Ambulance services (subject to service limitations)
  • Help connecting travelers with local medical professionals when needed
  • Roadside assistance (subject to service limitations)
  • Legal assistance (subject to service limitations)
  • 24/7 bilingual assistance

TravelCareMexico's role is limited to: (a) marketing and selling these services; (b) processing payments; (c) delivering digital travel certificates; (d) managing user accounts and certificate retrieval; and (e) customer support related to the purchase process, account management, and certificate access.

3. Service Limitations

The following limitations apply to all services under this certificate:

  • Doctor "house calls": One visit at no cost per beneficiary at hotels or other locations in Mexico. Subsequent visits must be paid directly to the doctor by the beneficiary (350 pesos for weekday daytime; 500 pesos for nighttime, holidays, and weekends).
  • Ambulance Services: One ground ambulance dispatch at no cost per beneficiary per trip in case of an emergency.
  • Legal Assistance: Free personal consultation with an attorney in case of detention, incarceration, or death, up to a maximum of 4,000 pesos.
  • Roadside Assistance: Gasoline supply is limited to a maximum of two gallons. Towing is limited to one free event up to 2,000 pesos; extra charges apply for cross-border towing.
  • Duration of Services: All services are limited to a maximum of 30 days, from the date of arrival in Mexico until departure.

4. Local Assistance Partner Relationship

Assistance in Mexico is coordinated through TelAsist, an independent company. TravelCareMexico does not control, direct, or manage TelAsist's operations, personnel, or service delivery.

Issues with assistance coordination (including service quality, response times, service delivery failures, or concerns arising from third-party services arranged in Mexico) should first be directed to TelAsist using the assistance number on your certificate.

Issues with the purchase process, account access, certificate delivery, or billing should be directed toTravelCareMexico at davide@travelcaremexico.com.

5. Purchase & Payment

Payment for travel certificates is processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. TravelCareMexico does not store any credit card information on its servers. All payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

Pricing is as currently displayed on the website. All prices are quoted in USD and are subject to change. The price applicable to your purchase will be confirmed at checkout before payment is submitted.

6. Travel Certificates

Upon successful payment, TravelCareMexico will issue a digital Travel Certificate for each traveler listed at the time of purchase. Certificates will be emailed to the address provided and stored in your account for retrieval.

Travel Certificates serve as proof that assistance coordination is available through TelAsist during the specified travel period and destinations. They are not insurance policies and do not promise payment of outside provider costs.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellations requested at least 48 hours before the trip start date will receive a full refund, less any payment processing fees charged by Stripe. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of the trip start date or after the trip has begun.

8. Limitation of Liability

TravelCareMexico's liability is strictly limited to the purchase price paid for the travel certificate. TravelCareMexico is not liable for any acts, omissions, negligence, or failures byTelAsist or any third party engaged byTelAsist.

TravelCareMexico does not guarantee the availability, quality, timeliness, or outcome of any services coordinated through TelAsist. Emergency situations involve inherent risks and unpredictable circumstances beyond anyone's control.

9. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any disputes arising from the purchase process, account management, certificate delivery, or the operation of this website that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English in Los Angeles, California.

Disputes regarding assistance coordination quality or third-party service delivery must be addressed with TelAsist and are not subject to arbitration throughTravelCareMexico.

10. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
